Triumph’s 2027 range: three reveal dates to mark in the diary

Triumph has previewed its 2027 models with fixed reveals: the Tiger 1200 on 27 October, the Street Triple 798 on 17 November and the Tiger 900 on 15 December.

Triumph previewed its 2027 motorcycles on 6 October and set out a calendar of full reveals running from late October to mid-December. The calendar stretches over seven weeks, and three dates matter. The Tiger 1200 will be revealed on 27 October, the Street Triple 798 on 17 November and the Tiger 900 on 15 December. Triumph is a British manufacturer based in Hinckley, and the Tiger name has run through its adventure-bike range for years. The details below keep to what the maker has said, as reported by Gear Patrol, autoevolution and Visordown, and they add no claims of their own about performance or price.

No pricing or horsepower figures for the Tigers or the Street Triple have been released. For now, each bike comes with a promise, not a specification.

Tiger 1200, 27 October

The first reveal is the Tiger 1200, the larger of the two Tigers. Triumph describes a new look, an updated 1200cc triple (an engine with three cylinders), advanced rider technology and, in the words reported by Gear Patrol, the most sophisticated suspension system yet.

Visordown notes that both Tigers appear to carry a forward-facing radar sensor, which would suggest adaptive cruise control, a system that holds a set gap to the vehicle ahead. That is an observation from the images, and Triumph has not confirmed it.

Street Triple 798, 17 November

The Street Triple, the brand's middleweight roadster, is due on 17 November with a new 798cc engine developed for the 2027 Moto2 championship, autoevolution reports. Moto2 is the intermediate class of motorcycle Grand Prix, and Triumph supplies its engines, which is why the road bike carries the link to the race series.

Visordown notes that the bike drops the 765 badge for 798 and receives a ground-up restyle with a single LED headlight. For context, the current Street Triple RS makes 128 bhp, while the Moto2 version makes about 150 bhp. The new road bike's figures have not been published.

Tiger 900, 15 December

The Tiger 900 is the last of the three. Triumph promises a more powerful and refined engine, an upgraded chassis, enhanced rider technology and next-generation connectivity, according to Gear Patrol. The brand has not released figures for it either.

The Bonneville T40

Alongside the three dated reveals, Triumph has detailed the Bonneville T40 and T40 Black, new modern classics with a 400cc engine. Visordown reports that they are A2-ready, meaning they are built for the A2 licence category that applies to newer riders in Europe and the UK.

The figures are modest: 32 PS, or 31.5 bhp, and 36 Nm of torque. The bikes weigh 191 kg ready to ride and have a 790 mm seat height, a 4-inch TFT display and cruise control as standard. Other features include a centre stand and Road, Rain and Eco riding modes, plus two custom modes.

UK pricing for the T40 is due in early 2027, and the first bikes are expected to reach dealers from spring 2027. For comparison, autoevolution notes that the cheapest Bonneville, the T100, starts at $11,495.

Where to see them

Triumph will show the Tiger 1200 and the Street Triple 798 at EICMA in Milan from 3 November, and at Motorcycle Live at the NEC in Birmingham from 21 November, Gear Patrol reports. The reveal dates and show appearances overlap in a way that the sources do not fully explain, so it is worth checking Triumph's announcements for the order in which each bike appears. Riders who want to compare the bikes in person can use these appearances, although the sources give no pricing for any of them.

autoevolution adds that this batch is much smaller than last year's.

What it means for Gulf riders

The Tiger 1200 sits in the adventure class, where bikes are chosen for long distances and mixed surfaces. For riders in the Gulf, that is the category associated with long-distance and desert touring, which is an editorial observation and not a sourced regional plan.

No Gulf price or availability has been announced for any of the bikes. The regional importer is the place to ask when a model might arrive and what it will cost.

Dates to mark

  • 27 October: Tiger 1200 full reveal.
  • 3 November: Tiger 1200 and Street Triple 798 on show at EICMA, Milan.
  • 17 November: Street Triple 798 reveal.
  • 21 November: Motorcycle Live, Birmingham.
  • 15 December: Tiger 900 reveal.

The sequence is clear enough to plan around, even if the numbers are still to come.
