For the first time, the Gulf’s two main fashion weeks fall in consecutive weeks. Riyadh Fashion Week runs from Thursday 15 to Tuesday 20 October 2026, and Dubai Fashion Week SS27 follows from 22 to 26 October. Around them sit two Saudi jewellery fairs and the launch of a high-profile collaboration. This guide sets out what the organisers have confirmed and what is still unannounced, so that readers can plan the fortnight.
At a glance
- Riyadh Fashion Week: 15 to 20 October 2026, fourth edition, various venues across Riyadh, by invitation.
- Dubai Fashion Week SS27: 22 to 26 October 2026, Dubai Design District (d3).
- Jewels of the World Saudi Arabia: Riyadh and Jeddah, 9 to 22 October, according to Harper’s Bazaar Arabia.
- Elie Saab x H&M: on sale online in the UAE, Kuwait and Riyadh on 22 October.
Riyadh Fashion Week, 15 to 20 October
This is the fourth edition, hosted by the Fashion Commission under Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Culture. Listmag reports almost 30 local and regional designers and says the programme covers couture, ready-to-wear and streetwear. There will also be showrooms and dedicated programming for global buyers and media.
Entry is by invitation only. Designer submissions closed on 1 September, and open castings invited local models to apply. Venues are spread across Riyadh and have not been named, and FACT Magazine says the 2026 line-up is still under wraps. No official Fashion Commission release, designer list or venue list was available at the time of writing.
For a sense of scale, the 2025 edition had more than 25 runway shows, 10 presentations and a curated showroom. It also opened its calendar to international brands for the first time, with Vivienne Westwood and Stella McCartney. Saudi houses Ashi Studio and KAF KAF showed that year. Listmag says the timing is expected to align with Riyadh Season 2026, though that has not been confirmed.

Dubai Fashion Week SS27, 22 to 26 October
Dubai Fashion Week is organised by Dubai Design District (d3) with the Arab Fashion Council, and it takes place at d3. According to Grazia Middle East, the programme includes couture from the region’s established maisons, emerging labels and a Buyers Programme of one-to-one appointments. Harper’s Bazaar Arabia adds that the schedule lists runway shows, designer previews, showroom appointments and networking.
The full line-up has not been announced. The previous edition, SS26, was held in early September. The autumn and winter 2026 edition included THAT Concept Store, Lama Jouni and Manish Malhotra, which gives an idea of the mix of regional and international names.
Whether a given event is open to the public is not stated in the sources. As with most fashion weeks, the safest assumption is that runway shows are for invited guests, buyers and media, and that readers should check with d3 or the Arab Fashion Council for any public programme.
Jewels of the World Saudi Arabia
Harper’s Bazaar Arabia reports that Jewels of the World Saudi Arabia runs alongside. The listed dates are Luxe at the Four Seasons Hotel Riyadh from 9 to 13 October, Fine Jewellery at the Mandarin Oriental Al Faisaliah in Riyadh from 11 to 15 October, and the Jeddah Hilton from 19 to 22 October. A new strand called Timeology Nights is due to bring in more than 30 Swiss maisons and independent watchmakers. These details come from one source, so confirm times and access with the organisers.
The Elie Saab x H&M launch
Elie Saab’s first menswear, designed for H&M, goes on sale online in the UAE, Kuwait and Riyadh on 22 October, the opening day of Dubai Fashion Week. Our separate feature covers the collection in detail.

How to plan the fortnight
- If you are travelling, book Riyadh first. Its dates come earlier, and venues are still to be announced.
- Look for official announcements from the Fashion Commission for Riyadh and from d3 and the Arab Fashion Council for Dubai. Line-ups were not public at the time of writing.
- For jewellery and watches, note that the Saudi fairs overlap with the first days of Riyadh Fashion Week.
- For the H&M collection, plan to order online on 22 October, as the regional release is online only in the three cities named.
- Keep the days flexible. The programme for both weeks was still being finalised, and schedule changes are normal.
What to watch
Together, the two weeks put Saudi and Emirati design in front of the same buyers and press within eight days. For Riyadh, the question is how many Saudi houses follow Ashi Studio and KAF KAF to a larger audience, and how many international names join the calendar. For Dubai, it is how the Buyers Programme turns appointments into orders for emerging labels. Both answers should start to appear once the line-ups are announced.
